It’s Wednesday and honestly TGIWEDNESDAY. This week has been a real struggle. It’s been crazy at work and at home and just in the world in general probably. I always have such high expectations for this time of year because some of my best memories are fall memories! And yet, I always forget how dang busy this time of year is. I try to remind myself that being busy is a blessing- it means I have a fun job; I have a great, healthy, big family; I have friends that are getting married, moving, having babies, and I get to be a part of all of that!
Here’s something a little bit different for #WIWWednesdays. I haven’t even posted this on IG yet, but I recently made my first order from Boohoo. I’ve heard a lot about them from other bloggers and seen a lot of cute things; they were having a 60% off sale so I had to give them a try! I ordered some dresses for a wedding we have coming up next weekend, and some other fun things. It shipped SO fast, and was here within a week. Unfortunately, I have to send most of the dresses back because they were too small, BUT they have free returns! I now have a better understanding of my size and their products, so I know what to order next time. Overall, great experience, a great price for clothes, and I will definitely order from them again!
One of my favorite items from them was a casual navy midi bodycon dress (that was SO many descriptive words, wow). With the sale, it ended up being $8- like WHAT?! It’s a great piece, and I’m going to order it in every color they have because I am OBSESSED. Here are 3 great, easy ways to style this dress for #WIWWednesday!
CASUAL WEAR TO WORK
Y’all, I hope you like this outfit because I’m going to be wearing it ALL THE TIME. I wore this to work today and I couldn’t believe how comfortable it was all day. The dress is lightweight, but full coverage (it has a high, square neck) so it’s perfect for work!
Alright, I am a sucker for a dress that you can wear with nude heels (get it, because that’s literally every dress). This was such an easy piece to jazz up because the fit makes it look elegant on its own. I added this layered necklace from Target and a nice bracelet to turn this into an outfit you could wear to a work event, or even a winter wedding!
This outfit REALLY shows how versatile this dress can be. You can dress it up or dress it way down and wear with sneakers to run errands on the weekend! Or maybe go to a pumpkin patch (hint, Drew, take me to a pumpkin patch). It’s so comfortable, and it’s a good, stretchy material. Some bodycon dresses are “stretchy,” but not super comfortable, and they can be really narrow if they’re midi. This one is A+ in my book.
Here is a link to the dress. It comes in NINE colors, so y’all watch out because I’m going to be getting ALL of them!
