Hey y’all! I appreciate SO much that you’re tuning in for another #WhatIWoreWednesday post. Today I’m featuring some things that I LOVE (and it isn’t pumpkins). Check it out:
OK, this shirt was a REALLY good excuse to take gratuitous sushi pics. As I mentioned on my latest IG post, sushi is my favorite food in the whole world (do you want a list of my favorite sushi restaurants in the Triangle? Let me know in the comments!). I found this shirt at Target when it was on clearance AND an additional 20% off (go Cartwheel app!). There was no way I could resist. It’s a graphic tee, it has a baby sushi roll at the bottom, and it’s a very subtle camo print. If I was a shirt, I would probably be this shirt.
Whenever I’m not at work, I’m wearing some kind of graphic tee. I have a whole basket in my closet that’s just graphic tees (and a storage box in my linen closet and another bin at my mom’s house). I collect them from events, concerts, trips, restaurants- if I’ve done something momentous in my life, you can bet I have a graphic tee to show for it. I love that they can be casual enough for every day wear, but they’re easy to dress up too! I love following bloggers with good street style and finding out new ways to wear a good graphic tee. Have I mentioned how much I love graphic tees?
If you live in North Carolina, you have to dress for all seasons at one time. Any given day it could be 60 degrees in the morning and 95 degrees by noon, so learning to dress in layers is key. Luckily, a lot of my favorite boutiques are based right here in the South, so it’s easy to find good transition pieces all year! For example, Vestique has the BEST denim for any season. They’re constantly adding new collections, and they have different styles and cuts so everyone can find something they love. These jeans are so comfy, and I have a glorious pair of flares from them too.
Another easy piece to transition is a great romper. This beauty from Holl & Main isn’t just a great romper- it’s the most glorious romper I’ve ever worn. Finding a good romper can be difficult because some are too long, some are too short, and some are just uncomfortable. I got to try this romper on as a part of the Holl & Main fall fashion sneak peek and I fell in love. From the fall florals to the bell sleeves, the whole piece is gorgeous. However, the best part: it’s extraordinarily comfortable. It’s the perfect length that keeps you covered while you’re still looking cute. I wore this romper to church and dinner with my parents last weekend- how many rompers can you style like that? (Also this romper has a really awesome name too. Just another bonus.)
