Fashion What I Wore Wednesday

#WIWWednesdays Yellow is the new Black (or is it?)

Hey y’all!

First of all, if you’re here and reading this post, thank you. Literally I want to thank you 100,000 times for just lending me your eyes for a few minutes so I can share my thoughts with you. I have a lot of thoughts, and I will try to keep them in cohesive sentences, but no promises!!!

I wanted to try something new here this week- #WhatIWoreWednesdays. I basically just want to do a recap of some of your faves (and my faves!) from Instagram each week. I’ll link everything below, and if something is older or sold out, I’ll link something similar. Let me know what you think!

Trying out GIFs- let me know in the comments if you love it or hate it

One thing you should know about me is that I LOVE Vestique. I have loved them since I was in college, and I love them even more now that I’m out of college and have a big girl job so I can shop there ALLLLL the time. The stylists at Vestique at Park West Village are as sweet as can be, and they are always so helpful when it comes to putting things together. As a super pale person, yellow is always something I have steered clear of- as a super pale person, there are a lot of colors that I feel like I can’t wear. However, I saw this jumper and I had to try it on. I’m SO glad I did because I literally want to wear it every day now. It’s so comfortable, and the perfect transition from summer to fall. You can pair it with a cute crop or tank while it’s still warm outside, or pair it with a cute button down or a cozy sweater for the cooler months.

I am so thankful for places like Vestique that make it easier to branch out of my comfort zone because their shopping environment and clothes are so dang comfortable!!! I’m seeing this yellow all over for fall and I’m LOVING it. It’s definitely going to be a seasonal staple.

Also wearing my go to sneaks from Vestique (they’re older, but they have some that are super similar here and here) and my favorite button down from J Crew (this shirt is literally a million years old, but they have another cute style here).

I put on my red suede shoooooooooes and I boarded the planeeeeeeeee

I’m like 90% sure that’s how the song goes. I felt like maybe y’all were getting sick of having my face in your face, so you’re welcome for these pictures. These shoes are another steal from Vestique- they were on SUPER sale last week (looks like they’re sold out, but they have so many other cute options). They are gorgeous for all seasons, and the faux suede is so easy to dress up or down. These are both work outfits, but I also wore them with jeans and a tank out for a date night with Drew last week. I didn’t get to snag a picture, even though Drew is a very good, patient and kind IG husband. #blessed

The thing I love most about these shoes is that they’re so BOLD. They’re the perfect pop of color and honestly they just make every outfit more fun. Finding cool, unique items make getting dressed in the mornings soooo much better. It boosts confidence and makes you feel so FREAKIN fierce. I snagged another super FUN pair of shoes from Vestique so be on the lookout for those too!!

First outfit: Shirt from Vestique, skirt from MGC Boutique (I am wearing this thing out from last season, but here’s a similar option)
Second outfit: Shirt from Charming Charlie (and it comes in PINK), pants from Pink Magnolia Boutique (I have been living in these during the work week for the past year, but here are some similar)

If there are any other things from Insta that you want, let me know in the comments below!! I’m going to Charleston (YAY) for Labor Day and I’m already excited for the outfits, so stay tuned for next #WhatIWoreWednesday. Also, I have a SUPER fun post coming out for y’all tomorrow featuring one of my ALL TIME FAVES, Holl & Main Boutique. You won’t want to miss it!!
